Ricky is the hottest water-ski instructor around and he has just be rehired by his former employer/camp to whip up attendance. But the camp is in serious financial trouble and the owner of a rival, more popular, camp wants to buy them out. Therefore they will have to engage in a mean, winner-takes-all competition that will settle the row once and for all.。公元2026年，在浩淼的银河系中，有一颗住着机器人的行星——“ 哈帝星”，由于哈帝星科技高速发展，机器人社会即将面临能源短缺的危机。好在学究犀牛博士研究发现了一种叫做“ 梦多拉晶石”的宇宙物质，能作为哈帝星的补充能源。为解决哈帝星能源危机，红宝等机器人组成V5战队，执行追踪回收梦多拉晶石的任务。可惜新成立的V5战队第一次出任务就意外出错，导致梦多拉晶石坠入行星“地球”上，晶石碎片散落在一个名为“西童镇”的小城市。 V5战队由此肩负起到地球回收晶石的任务。。
