第二季的故事是发生在第一季的故事结束后三年，爱良等人从Pretty Top演艺学校结业并学有所成，之后有了全新生力军的加入，包含了玲奈、果铃、彩海三人组成的团队“三棱镜伴侣（Prism Mates、プリズムメイツ）”，与后来加入的美爱，演变成四人明星团体“Prizmmy☆”并走上成名之路；后来有来自韩国的五位女性留学生加入了Pretty Top演艺学院，并与Prizmmy☆四人连袂演出。。White Lies is described as an “urgent exploration of race and privilege, inequality and identity.” Set in the wealthy neighbourhood of Bishopscourt, Cape Town, the series is described as following investigative journalist Edie Hansen (Dormer) as she gets caught up in the ugly underbelly that lies beneath the picturesque beauty of the city, dragging her back to a turbulent past....。
