Yet the seaman and the librarian can...。《我为喜剧狂》是湖北卫视2014年全新打造的大型喜剧真人秀节目。特邀英达、谢娜、郭德纲这三位重量级嘉宾担任导师，联手选出“喜剧狂人”。这档节目无论是导师团队、制作团队、剪辑团队，都可算得上是个中翘楚。 节目定位于发现真正的民间高手，传递普通人的喜乐。制作方从500名参赛者中挑出60名种子选手，进入第一阶段的比拼，参赛者们不仅有来自本山艺术团、嘻哈包袱铺、开心麻花、大道喜剧院等专业选手，也云集了大量的草根喜剧表演者。 节目对喜剧的表演形式不设限制，并且也无严格的时间要求。参赛选手不仅可以表演相声、小品等传统逗乐艺术，还可以采用幽默剧、脱口秀、形体秀等多种方式来展现自己的搞笑功力。每位选手约在三分钟左右完成一段表演内容。 比赛规则：初选结束后，每位导师战队将有12位学员，这36位学员将在各自导师的带领和培训下，历经层层筛选，最终争夺《我为喜剧狂》第一季...。
